Infected – ‘Masturbating Devil’ T-Shirt V2

This design has been available as a t-shirt for several years now – but this version brings it up to date with the rest of the Andy Dog Collection, being printed on the same finest quality 100% cotton shirt, and with the proper differentiation of bold colours as per the original Andy Dog design.

This t-shirt features a reworking by Andy Dog of his infamous artwork for the original 12″ of Infected. This neon version was originally designed to be projected above the stage during a series of THE THE performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall in 1990 during the Versus The World tour.

Andrew Johnson (aka Andy Dog), Matt’s late brother, created the artwork for many of THE THE’s early album and single sleeves. His work often featured tortured, grimacing figures coupled with black-humoured, melancholic themes. He trained at Camberwell School of Art, contributed to many European and British underground comics and magazines and also worked for the UK music press. He was responsible for establishing the visual identity of the Some Bizzare record label as well as creating sleeves for numerous other recording artists.

Screenprinted on finest quality 100% white cotton.
