This giclée print features a reworking by Andy Dog of his infamous artwork for the original 12″ of Infected. This neon version was originally designed to be projected above the stage during a series of THE THE performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall in 1990 during the Versus The World tour.

Andrew Johnson (aka Andy Dog), Matt’s late brother, created the artwork for many of THE THE’s early album and single sleeves. His work often featured tortured, grimacing figures coupled with black-humoured, melancholic themes. He trained at Camberwell School of Art, contributed to many European and British underground comics and magazines and also worked for the UK music press. He was responsible for establishing the visual identity of the Some Bizzare record label as well as creating sleeves for numerous other recording artists.

Printed in vibrant colours on heavyweight 315gsm, soft-textured, 100% cotton, archive-quality white paper with the classic THE THE logo hand-embossed into the bottom left hand corner.

    Unframed. A2 dimensions:42 x 59.4cm (16.5 x 23.4 in)
Prints are dispatched wrapped in tissue and inserted into postal tubes. To relax the resulting curl, leave the paper for a few hours out of the tube to loosen up a little. Then, with the enclosed tissue paper protecting the print, use the tube to gently roll the print the other way around it. This should straighten it nicely.
