After some more deep-diving in the Johnson Family archives, we came across a treasure trove of old Andy Dog t-shirts, designed and printed to sell in the late nineties / early noughties. The ‘Fear Eats The Soul’ t-shirt is typical of Andy’s black humour and bold design.
Andrew Johnson (Andy Dog) is Matt Johnson’s late brother, who created the artwork for many of THE THE’s albums and singles.
Please be aware that these shirts have been in deep storage for two decades and may bear heavy fold creases, etc. They are rare items – once they are gone, they are gone.
PLEASE LOOK AT THE SIZING COMMENTS BELOW!
We believe the sizing is a little different than how things are now measured – please have a look at this retro sizing guide below.
The ‘Small tight-fitting’ shirt is of a completely different cut and a stretchier fabric (as shown in separate photograph) – it would probably have been a 90’s women’s t-shirt, but could be unisex or even for a child!
All measurements are height x width:
Small tight-fitting: 48.25 x x 40.6cm / 19 x 16in
M: 68.5 x 52cm / 27 x 20.5in
L: 81.25 x 58.5cm / 32 x 23in
