All The The news that's fit to print
Volume 1 Issue 3
Late final

By Matt Johnson

Welcome to www.thethe.com and This Is TheThe Day, the official organ of TheThe. As you may be aware events at this facility have moved slowly since our June launch. This is largely because of staff shortages over the summer holidays but also due to the volume of beta testing going on behind the scenes. Our aim is to build a logical, friendly site with a bulletproof infrastructure that does simple things excellently rather than a site that does everything, but badly. When new functions are firmly in place and bolted down we'll slowly expand from there, so please bear with us on that.

Although I'm the only fixed point in the kaleidoscopic entity of TheThe I'd like to stress that it is, and always has been, a collaborative effort and that I've been blessed in working with a huge variety of gifted individuals over the years. What's exciting about the coming two years is that we'll be introducing you to new collaborators as well as reintroducing some old ones who've rejoined the fold. In this third issue of This Is TheThe Day I'd like to present some of the people who'll be running this facility.

Our new editor is Jack Siddeley, a good man who I'm very happy we were able to persuade take on the job. He'll not only be responsible for overseeing the place on a day to day basis but will also respond occasionally to your questions (the pertinent ones at least) in his 'Letters To The Editor' page, our replacement for the old 'Guest Book' on the previous site.

Our new head of Digital Research & Development (and resident egghead) is the talented and experienced Hampton Crowley. We're also delighted he agreed to join us from his previous high flying job.

Last but not least I'm delighted to welcome the bright and beautiful Heather Bell. A gifted journalist who'll be working with us on a freelance basis initially. She'll be conducting interviews as well as spending time trawling the newspapers of the globe looking for stories that may be of interest here. Feel free to send in any stories you come across on your travels on the Internet and which you feel may be of interest here.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to wave a fond farewell to the previous editor of www.thethe.com - the 'Mysterious Q' - as he disappears over the horizon into uncharted waters and an unknown destination in his new vessel, www.gulliblebum.com. Over the last couple of years Q has provided us with sterling service and steadfast loyalty. We'll miss his quirky banter and oddball ideas. His new site will deal specifically in lies, rumours and innuendo. Content we all agreed was probably inappropriate here.

Well, I'll get back to work and leave you in the safe hands of Jack Siddeley as he takes you on his Guided Tour.

(see bottom of page)

You Are Being Lied To acts as a battering ram against the distortions, myths and outright lies that have been shoved down our throats by the government, the media, corporations, organized religion, the scientific establishment, and others who want to keep the truth from us.

An unprecedented group of researchers, investigative reporters, political dissidents, academics, media watchdogs, scientist-philosophers, social critics, and rogue scholars paints a picture of a world where crucial stories are ignored or actively suppressed and the official version of events has more holes in it than Swiss cheese. A world where real dangers are downplayed and nonexistent dangers are trumpeted. In short, a world where you are being lied to.

Former heavyweight boxing champ Muhammad Ali visited the ruins of the World Trade Center on Thursday. When reporters asked how he felt about the suspects sharing his Islamic faith, Ali responded pleasantly, "How do you feel about Hitler sharing yours?"
