our New York correspondent
It is with equal measure
joy and relief that I announce my long sought
freedom from the clutches of the nothing
/ Interscope / Universal / Vivendi
conglomerate. After repeated pleadings and
requests from me over the past year the
folks at nothing records were honorable
and gracious enough to grant me an early
release from my contract in order to end
what has been a disastrous episode from
start to finish. For those who have followed
this saga on TheThe.com no further explanation
is needed.

For me this summer heralds
a fresh and exciting start. I'm already
back in the studio with the boys recording
new material and, as you've probably noticed,
we've launched This Is TheThe Day. This
new site will expand over the coming months
to reflect the new direction we're heading
in. Your input, as always, is appreciated.
